The Sun Moon Empire has developed Soul Tool technology far beyond the Three Douluo Kingdoms. Its cities replace conventional walls with Soul Tool shields, and Bright Capital's buildings are linked by formations to the city's defensive network 107. Combat Categories

• Offensive Soul Tools — divided into melee and long-range types. He Caitou demonstrates a Class 2 metal blade and a Class 1 arm-mounted cannon; the cannon destroys a moving target with a single energy blast 31.
• Defensive Soul Tools — generate barriers or shields to block attacks. Absolute Defense creates a scarlet barrier capable of stopping a powerful axe strike 83.
• Auxiliary Soul Tools — provide non-direct combat support, including Soul Power recovery, movement, storage, and battlefield control 31 74.

Core Formations

Soul Tools are constructed by engraving soul guidance formations and cores into metal. Beginner Soul Engineers study simple first-grade formations, such as propulsion formations, before progressing to more complex cores and assemblies 34.

A user's Soul Power can activate a Soul Tool; He Caitou powers a soul-guided artillery shell by pouring Soul Power into it 34. More advanced formations can alter this limitation by drawing power directly from the environment 109 110.

• Milk Bottle — A revolutionary auxiliary Soul Tool that can replenish all Soul Power for Soul Ancestors and lower-ranked users 74.
• High-Temperature Ray — Ma Rulong's Class 7 shoulder-mounted cannon. It defeats Dio Academy's captain with a single blast 83.
• Electromagnetic Shield — A Class 7 barrier used by Xiao Hongchen to trap all but one member of Shrek's team inside its field 83.

Heavenly Cycle Soul Tool Array

Huo Yuhao develops the Heavenly Cycle Soul Tool Array by incorporating the circulation patterns of his Heavenly Cycles into conventional array carving 109.

• The first demonstrated version is a Level Five defensive shield that autonomously absorbs the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and converts it into usable Soul Power 109 110.
