Background / History

Han Jin originated in a parallel world whose novel centered on Gu Lin and Lin Su. He met Lin Su there only after Lin Su and Gu Lin’s relationship had already become stable. Having joined Self-Help Dream Home to get close to Lin Su, Han Jin learned that Lin Su was an Omega while he himself was an Alpha; he imagined a future with Lin Su but found that Lin Su was already married. 17

Unable to accept their relationship, Han Jin arranged for multiple Omegas to approach the couple and cooperated with Old Master Gu to find exceptionally sweet-pheromoned Omegas. None succeeded in separating Lin Su and Gu Lin. 17

He later arrived in the current world, which resembles an earlier point in the story but differs in numerous details, including locations, minor personal traits, and some secondary genders. Lin Su and Gu Lin remain recognizably unchanged, still working at the same company; Han Jin sees their current loveless contract marriage as his opportunity to pursue Lin Su. 17
