Background / History

Su Minghui married Zhou Guomin despite her family’s objections. After their marriage, she devoted herself to the household and entrusted Su Corporation’s affairs to him. Zhou used that authority to promote his own people and replace the company’s established personnel, gradually turning the nominally Su-owned corporation into his own power base. 3

After giving birth to Su Leyun, Su Minghui realizes that the doctors and nurses around her have been bought off by Zhou. She keeps Leyun constantly at her side, contacts her estranged best friend Fu Siwen for help, and begins concealing her suspicions while preparing a long-term counterattack against her husband. 2 3
