Background / History
Fu Siwen and Su Minghui grew up together: they attended kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and university together. Their comparable family backgrounds and long friendship made them as close as sisters, though they gradually drifted apart after Su Minghui married Zhou Guomin. 2 3
When Su Minghui called after giving birth to Su Leyun and sounded distressed, Fu Siwen immediately went to the hospital with her son, Chu Yanxiao. After hearing about the attempted baby swap and Zhou Guomin’s manipulation, she urged Su Minghui not to let him escape accountability. 3
Fu Siwen is married to Father Chu and has two sons, Chu Xuan and Chu Yanxiao. Chu Xuan had been healthy until around age three, after which his condition deteriorated severely. Fu Siwen and her husband sought feng shui masters, held rituals, visited temples, and established a children’s welfare foundation in hopes of accumulating merit for him. 23 24
Personality
Fu Siwen is fiercely loyal, candid, and quick to act when someone she cares about is threatened. She does not demand explanations from Su Minghui before offering help, whether arranging safe accommodations, confronting abusive nursing-home staff, or challenging Zhou Guomin’s suspicious behavior. 4 18 20 47
As Chu Xuan’s mother, she is resilient but deeply vulnerable to threats against her child. She remains willing to seek supernatural help despite repeated failures, accepts Su Minghui’s warnings seriously, and ultimately entrusts Su Leyun with Chu Xuan’s fate even while fearing the danger involved. 24 26 33 38
She is also protective and uncompromising toward injustice. When Chu Yanxiao is falsely accused at school, she insists on reviewing the surveillance footage rather than accepting the other family’s demands. 44 45
