Approaching the Truth!

The atmosphere inside the barbershop was as if it had frozen.

Mr. Big's gaze was cold, and his subordinates radiated malice from head to toe.

Riley wore a worried expression. Everything before them had exceeded their original estimates. Before coming, he had considered that Mr. Big might know a great deal about the Sphendic Conglomerate, but he had never expected Mr. Big's knowledge of it to have reached this level.

He had actually managed to plant a spy!

Riley was not stupid, and he reached almost exactly the same conclusion as Qin Ran in an instant.

However, this conclusion only made Riley even more uneasy and fearful.

Because it meant their "trick" was about to be exposed.

At the thought of death, the intelligence broker's body began to tremble uncontrollably.

Almost instinctively, Riley looked toward Qin Ran.

Facing the many gun barrels, Riley could see that Qin Ran remained as calm as ever. He seemed completely unconcerned by the desperate situation before them, which was so unfavorable that it would have driven anyone to despair.

Riley's heart immediately settled.

In the short span of a single day, Riley had witnessed far too many of Qin Ran's miracles.

That undoubtedly gave Riley considerable confidence.

Especially Qin Ran's composure, which gave Riley the illusion that Qin Ran had everything under control.

Riley quickly calmed down. He waited for Qin Ran to turn the unfavorable situation around and lead him out of their predicament.

A hint of anticipation even appeared in his eyes.

Qin Ran did not notice the anticipation in the intelligence broker's eyes.

At that moment, Qin Ran was thinking with absolute concentration.

He needed a reason that could convince Mr. Big.
