An Unexpected Visitor

Once Qin Ran confirmed from the dungeon prompt that Island Prison and Psychic Partners took place in the same world, he knew what had happened at Alcatraz Prison would cause an uproar.

Hundreds of prisoners had died, along with nearly a hundred guards.

The prisoners might have deserved their fate, but the guards' deaths alone were enough to draw everyone's attention.

Yet during his search that afternoon, Qin Ran had found no reports about Alcatraz Prison.

Clearly, someone—or some organization—had suppressed the news.

For Qin Ran, that was both good and bad.

On the bright side, he would not have to worry about more people and organizations getting involved.

On the other hand, he would have to compete for the chance to investigate the Bronze Giant Coffin with the experts already stationed on Alcatraz Island.

And who were those experts?

She had asked her question bluntly. Perhaps that was simply her nature, but Qin Ran still found it suspicious.

But Qin Ran could not trust her words.

Too much about them did not add up.
