Flames roared and shrapnel flew. A stony glow and an invisible force field flashed over Qin Ran at the same time.

The instant Qin Ran lost more than half his health, he recovered 200 points.

Wilk was not so lucky.

The blast destroyed Wilk's force-field-like shield and left him in a sorry state.

His red shirt and trousers were in tatters. Black scorch marks covered his body, streaked with blood.

Wilk had noticed something wrong before the explosion, but he had been caught off guard and reacted a step too late. Sometimes, one step was enough to decide everything.

"Damn it!"

The pain sent Wilk's killing intent soaring.

But in the next instant, his expression changed.

Qin Ran stood before him with his thumbs crossed and his other fingers spread, both palms aimed at Wilk. He murmured, "AIOPLDS!"

Whoosh!

A cone of flame burst from between Qin Ran's palms and engulfed Wilk.

Scorching heat still raged through the secret passage when gunfire erupted.

Bang, bang, bang!

Qin Ran held the [MI-02] in his left hand and the [Python-W2] in his right.

His fingers squeezed the triggers again and again.

Bullets converged on Wilk like rain.

But Qin Ran was not finished!

The [Python-W2] in his right hand ran out of bullets first.

He immediately reached behind his waist.

A grenade with its pin pulled appeared in his hand.

Clink!

Qin Ran's precise throw landed the grenade at Wilk's feet.

Boom!

Another explosion erupted.

This time, Wilk had no force-field-like shield to protect him.

After taking a hit from Burning Hands and
