Finks had gone to Alcatraz Island?!

That was Qin Ran's first thought when he heard the man's words.

"What exactly happened?" Qin Ran asked.

"Three days ago, the people who broke away sent word that they wanted to hold peace talks with Dr. Finks and settle the organization's dispute once and for all!"

"Most of us thought it was a trap!"

"But Dr. Finks thought it was a chance to resolve things peacefully, so..."

The man gave a bitter smile.

"So he went?" Qin Ran finished.

"Yes. Dr. Finks left the organization's base three days ago!"

"And we haven't heard from him since!"

The man nodded.

"Then how did you find this place?"

Qin Ran studied him closely.

Black Street No. 1 was not exactly a secret, but it was not somewhere just anyone could find.

And from what little Qin Ran knew of Finks, he was not the sort to drag someone else into trouble.

"Dr. Finks told me about it."

"Of course, he only said that if he couldn't return, he hoped you would help him keep looking after those poor people, not go rescue him..."

"But we hope you'll bring Dr. Finks back!"

The man explained himself.

Then something seemed to strike him, and he cried out.

"Oh! I'm Boyle. It's an honor to meet you, Your Excellency 2567!"

Boyle introduced himself, looking rather embarrassed.

"It's good to meet you too!"

"Could you wait a moment?"

Qin Ran spoke.

"You'll help?"

Boyle looked at Qin Ran. When Qin Ran nodded, he followed the Ghost Butler to the reception room, delighted to wait there quietly.

"You agreed too hastily."

"All we have is Boyle's word. No one can say for sure it isn't a trap!"
