It was about the last bit of May now, wasn't it?

Although it hadn't reached midnight yet.

This was the first month since Demon's Cage went premium, and also a month that had left Decadent extremely anxious.

Demon's Cage was a work into which Decadent had poured heart and soul. Decadent wanted to write something they wanted to write, and at first worried that everyone would not approve of it. Fortunately, its final results had been quite good.

They had completely exceeded Decadent's expectations.

That let Decadent breathe a huge sigh of relief.

Because everyone's recognition and support were what motivated Decadent to keep writing.

To put it bluntly, only with everyone's recognition and support could Decadent earn enough royalties to eat.

Making a living by writing was Decadent's current situation.

It probably would not change in the future, either.

So Decadent needed even more recognition and support from everyone.

All Decadent could do was write with all their heart.

That was the only way Decadent could repay everyone.

May had ended, and June had begun.
