Chapter 294: Focus

"What?"

"What did you say?"

"The police station was bombed?"

Shiqi had been taking it easy for nearly a week, half-reclining on the sofa in a relaxed posture. But the news Simons brought back made him spring straight up from the couch.

"Who did it?"

Shiqi asked.

"2567!"

Simons said with a bitter smile.

"How is that possible?"

"2567 has been here reading the whole time..."

"Someone framed 2567!"

"You're not worried at all?"

Simons looked at the somewhat impulsive Shiqi, then at Qin Ran, who sat in his chair holding a book as if he had not heard a word Simons said. Simons could not help smiling bitterly.

"Would worrying help?"

"Since they've made their move, we'll deal with it as it comes."

Qin Ran replied calmly.

Throughout the entire exchange, his eyes never left the book before him, The Trajectory of Constellations and Fate. It was an advanced version of Stars and Fate.

Before reading Stars and Fate and a number of introductory books, Qin Ran had found this book as incomprehensible as a heavenly tome.

But after reading all those basic books, though this one remained obscure and difficult, it was no longer beyond his understanding.
