Planetary Emergence, Destruction and Rebirth

"The Emergence, and the Eternals' true mission."

At this, Ajak's expression changed slightly. She wanted to stop Bast from continuing, but as a noncombatant, she simply lacked the strength. The white-haired little girl transformed from a giant dragon was staring at her with those big, doll-like eyes.

"The Emergence?"

"Our... true mission?"

Cersei and the other uninformed Eternals looked at one another.

"That's right."

Bast continued, "You Eternals were sent to Earth by Arishem the Judge of the Celestials in order to bring about the birth of the Celestial Tiamut."

"Every billion years, a new Celestial must be born. Of course, this is for the Celestials' continued existence and to maintain the balance of matter and energy exchange throughout the universe."

"To ensure the smooth birth of new Celestials, Arishem scattered Celestial Seeds across Emergence Planets throughout the universe. The Earth beneath our feet was chosen by him to bring forth the Celestial Tiamut."

"Every Celestial Seed requires vast amounts of energy from intelligent lifeforms as it grows from burial to birth. However, the Deviants fed on humans, hindering that process."

"That was why Arishem created you Eternals." Bast paused, sweeping her gaze over the ten Eternals before her. The corners of her lips rose slightly as she continued in a faintly mocking tone:

"To make up for his own mistake."

"Enough!"

As Bast spoke, an explosive roar suddenly rang out from above!

The thick clouds were violently torn apart by some being, revealing a massive red head resembling a six-sided die. Its icy gaze fell indifferently upon the Avengers Alliance below.

Every person on the ground could clearly feel an immense pressure threatening to crush them utterly.

"A-Arishem?!"

Sprite looked up at her superior and froze on the spot.

The other Eternals beside her reacted much the same
