Now that he had sunk to the lowest point in his life, there was no point worrying about losing face anymore. Besides, there was no one else aboard this spaceship he knew.
When Nebula carried Tony to the engine room in a reverse princess carry, the engine room was not struggling to operate as he had imagined. It had already shut down.
"How could this be..." Tony frowned at the sight.
He was simply too weak now. Even his once razor-sharp thoughts had become sluggish and stiff. With his brain deprived of energy, it was functioning about as poorly as the ship's power system.
"Tony, could someone be pushing the ship along?" Nebula suddenly guessed, putting her "clever" brain to work.
"How could that possibly..." Tony instinctively wanted to deny it, but then again, that did seem to be the only possibility.
Tony fell silent for a moment, not because Nebula had guessed the likely truth and upset him, but because he had grown weak enough to need Nebula to think for him.

"Nebula, is there any way to get outside and check?" Tony looked at Nebula. He could barely even walk now, so he could only place his hopes for investigation on her.

Nebula nodded seriously. "I can't survive in space for long, but thanks to this cyborg body Thanos modified, I can hold out for a while in a vacuum."
