"Who are you?"
Steve Rogers asked warily. Experienced as he was, he did not rashly approach. Instead, he slowly backed away with one hand protectively shielding Natasha.
"Don't, don't, don't leave!"
Apparently hearing their footsteps, the mysterious male voice immediately pleaded tearfully, "I'm Scott Lang, an electrical engineering prodigy who once went to prison for theft. But there was a reason for that—I'm a good person. Anyway, I'm currently working for Dr. Hank Pym."
"Where are you right now? Hiding in the dark and talking to us like this doesn't seem like something a good person would do."
Natasha crouched slightly and scanned the surroundings vigilantly, but found neither the hidden cameras she had imagined nor any convenient place to hide.
"I don't have much choice either." Scott sounded helpless. "In a sense, I'm right in front of you, but I'm currently in the Quantum Realm. Human eyes alone can't properly observe me, so you can only contact me through the device on the console."
"The Quantum Realm?"
Steve Rogers and Natasha exchanged delighted looks.
