"Good."

Star-Lord's tone was teasing, carrying a hint of gloating mockery. The expression on his face made him look rather pleased with himself.

Mantis spoke sadly, her soft, adorable voice thick with tears.

"Mourning? Wait!"

"Strange, if I hadn't done that, Quill would've gone berserk the moment he heard about Gamora's death and snapped Thanos out of Mantis's mental control."

Tony explained with an exceptionally serious expression.

"Is that so..." Doctor Strange immediately sank into thought, then suddenly sensed something and asked sharply, "Tony, how did you know that?"

"I..."

"GAMORA!!!"

"Damn it?"

Tony had just been about to explain when Thanos suddenly roared, breaking free from Mantis's mental control and flinging her straight off his head. Then he yanked back the Infinity Gauntlet, which Spider-Man Peter had pulled down to his wrist joint, and clenched his fist!

Purple energy instantly transformed into a spherical force field centered on Thanos, blasting Tony, Strange, Spider-Man Peter, and the others away!
