Howard's mouth twitched at Nick Fury's shameless change of expression, and he gave a helpless smile.

"Sorry, Fury, I can't answer that either. Tony didn't reveal much to me, but he did tell me one thing."

"What?" Nick Fury suddenly felt inexplicably nervous.

"That this achievement won't be at risk of becoming widespread for a long time. In other words, it'll be very difficult to mass-produce." Howard did not hide much from Nick Fury. At least, everything he said was true; he had merely withheld the most crucial part.

Upon hearing that, much of Nick Fury's nervousness and excitement dissipated. He sighed dejectedly. "Fine. It's probably better that it can't be mass-produced. If this thing could be replicated like the Super Soldier Serum, then if it fell into the hands of terrorists with ill intentions, it would be an unimaginable disaster for this world."

Yes, how could Nick Fury, as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., possibly not know about the leak of the Super Soldier Serum technology?

Perhaps Tony had already completed that technology but was unwilling to share it with outsiders. Perhaps he simply did not want there to be any additional possibility of it leaking.

In any case, Nick Fury unusually found himself understanding Tony's concerns.

If power capable of effortlessly withstanding conventional human firepower could be easily acquired by villains, this world, which had only just settled down, would very likely be plunged into another global crisis because of humanity's inherent flaws.

"When you get the chance, ask Tony yourself." Howard comfortingly patted Nick Fury on the shoulder. "I can't make any decisions on Tony's behalf. After all, it's his research."

"That assumes I can even see him..." Nick Fury looked speechless. "You have no idea how hard it is to see your precious eldest son these days."
