After ending his call with Tony, Happy called Stark Industries' security department and had more than a dozen burly bodyguards dispatched to guard the area around Pepper's room.

Happy swore to himself as he accelerated and drifted all the way, quickly catching up to the tracker.
Noticing that the tracker had remained stationary on one street for quite some time, Happy parked on the next street over. He got out alone, pulled a miniature pistol from his pocket, gripped it with both hands, and cautiously crept closer.
Though it was already late at night, the streets were still filled with bizarrely dressed people who had no intention of going home, since it was Christmas.
