The Rock Clan progenitors could only pin their hopes on the Light God Lord persuading the other seven pantheons of the Divine Alliance to join them. But on closer thought, both progenitors felt somewhat disheartened.
The Rock Clan was now in an awkward position. Although they had allied with the Light God Lord and the Atlan Civilization, their strength had been steadily depleted, leaving them supported by only two Supreme Existences.
Previously, the Light God Lord had been only one Supreme Existence, so that had been manageable. But now, if all eight Divine Lords of the Divine Alliance came in person, the Rock Clan would be completely sidelined. Even if they eventually destroyed the Spellcaster Civilization, the benefits the Rock Clan received would be very limited. Worse still, if the Divine Alliance grew greedy, the Rock Clan itself might be in danger.
The Atlan Civilization was no simple force either. It possessed warships capable of killing Supreme Existences, along with an endless stream of warships and puppets. Backed by the extraordinary Atlan Plane, the Atlan Civilization feared no other power.
Only the Rock Clan was weak, with scarcely any trump cards left.
But the Rock Clan could no longer back out. Even if they withdrew now, the Spellcaster Civilization would not spare them. They could only grit their teeth and continue the war.

The two Rock Clan progenitors could only sigh inwardly. One misguided decision, made in the belief that they could secure more room for their clan to survive, had brought them to this point. Had they known things would develop this way, they would never have gone to war with the Spellcaster Civilization.
