Although no one knew what the lantern actually was, it was soon classified as the Nova Empire's highest-level secret.

However, the lantern's origins, along with the immense energy they had detected when they first discovered it, were enough to make them take it extremely seriously.

Then, several days later, when Kirur repeated the experiment, he recorded a terrifying sight—the destruction of a universe. More precisely, it was the collision of two universes or timelines.

At first, Kirur and the empire's rulers assumed it was a rare cosmic phenomenon that they had been fortunate enough to witness. However, the experiments continued to show more timelines colliding and being destroyed.

Everyone began to panic, wondering why these timelines were being destroyed and whether theirs would be next.

More importantly, they began asking how to prevent this from happening, or, in the worst-case scenario, how to protect themselves. No one could provide an answer, because Doctor Kirur had only recently developed the technology to observe and interfere with dimensions.
