"Everyone's here," Ian said as he looked at the people around the table. His gaze shifted to Tony. "You look terrible."

"With so much happening, it's hard to sleep," Tony replied. "By the way, did you really have to erase Pepper and Happy's memories too? You made an exception for us. Why not give them the same consideration?"

"I thought you wanted them kept out of this, but if that's what you want, I can restore their memories," Ian replied.

"Maybe that would be best," Tony muttered.

"How are things right now?" Fury asked.

"You saw the result. I erased these people's memories and temporarily sealed away the powers they had just gained."

"Temporarily?"

"No one can escape the crisis that's coming, so having power isn't necessarily a bad thing," Ian explained.

Fury frowned. "I assume the military is trying to make use of these powers?"

"You're right. They still haven't realized that we're in a situation where it's 'us against everyone.'"

"So, what are you planning to do?"

"My clones are working hard to reach a diplomatic compromise. Every army in the world will be allowed to use their supernatural powers and begin training for the Great Convergence.

"However, NATO, Russia, and China want their own countries to have these powers first, making everyone else wait at least a year."

"Well, at least you've convinced them that everyone should be able to access the super-soldier program. That feat alone is extraordinary," Fury remarked, but Ian merely grunted.

His clones had already started complaining about how boring their work was, and had even asked whether directly conquering the planet would be the better option.
