Ian looked at the iconic building bearing the Fantastic Four logo—the Baxter Building. "First the Inhumans, and now the Fantastic Four. By that logic, the next large-scale Convergence should pull the X-Men into it."

"There's a 75% chance of that happening," Morgana said with a nod.

"Ra, what's the history of the Fantastic Four?"

"In 2007, a scientific expedition led by Reed Richards, one of the brightest minds of the twenty-first century, accidentally exposed him and three others to cosmic radiation, granting all four of them superpowers. They subsequently formed a team to help people."

"2007? That was before Tony was kidnapped," Ian murmured. It seemed the mythology of the Fantastic Four had already been woven into this timeline's history.

"Where were they during the Battle of New York?"

"They fought alongside everyone else." As Ra answered, she showed him photos and videos of the four of them, dressed in blue superhero uniforms and fighting the Chitauri.

"That means I should have invited them to that brief meeting between me and the Avengers," Ian remarked.

"According to our investigation, you did invite them." Ra nodded, then showed him the memories retrieved from the Avengers. "Reed strongly opposed the way you treated everyone like chess pieces during the Battle of New York. In fact, he was completely opposed to your existence and even believed there was a better way to deal with Convergence."

"That's understandable," Ian said calmly. Extremely intelligent people were often arrogant, believing they could solve any problem. "So, has he found a better way?"

"Not so far," Ra replied. "The brutal slaughter following the peaceful timeline Fusion hit him hard, but since then, he has devoted himself to researching a more peaceful method of Fusion. He believes he can create a way for two timelines to merge peacefully
