Ian currently did not have the strength to chop off a Zombie's head. Even if he had, he would not have performed such an extremely stamina-draining action. Instead, he chose to stab his sword through the monster's head. Dr. Frey began swinging her weapon wildly, distracting one of the Zombies.

Ian took the opportunity to kill the remaining two Zombies, successfully rescuing Nate. However, Dr. Frey was still panicking as she faced the only Zombie left. Ian and Nate were preparing to help when Booth spoke up. "There are three more. Go deal with them."

The two glanced at Dr. Frey, then left without saying anything else. A few seconds later, they returned to find the doctor covered from head to toe in blood and viscera. Her face was pale, and her entire body was trembling. Booth looked at her coldly. "Remember: this mission is already the simplest one you'll encounter."

He looked around at everyone. "There's a large compact SUV twenty meters away. I can hot-wire it." After saying that, Booth walked away. Nate and William followed closely behind. Ian helped Dr. Frey to her feet, but the corner of his eye remained fixed on William.
