"Don't move," William said. "If you kill me, this thing will explode, and we'll all die together." The atmosphere instantly became taut with tension.

"There's no need to do this," Ian said. "The virus won't kill you within two or three hours. That's enough time for us to complete the mission. There should be an antidote in Samsara Hall."

"That's right." Nate suddenly saw a glimmer of hope and chimed in. "Everyone, calm down."

"Shut up!" William shouted harshly. "I need you to throw all your weapons at least twenty meters away from yourselves, or we'll all die."

Booth's hand remained on his gun, calculation showing in his eyes. William, however, kept his gaze fixed firmly on him.

"I know you're Superman, but if you make a move, this grenade will explode immediately," William threatened. "Now, do as I say. We don't have much time." The Zombies in the distance were steadily closing in on the area because of the commotion.

"You're not doing this because of the virus, are you?" Ian suddenly asked. "You want to leave the team. The question is, why?"

"Your instincts are pretty sharp," William said, looking at him. Ever since he was young, William had realized that his presence was incredibly weak, making him almost invisible. This ability made it difficult for him to make friends and maintain relationships. He even struggled to succeed at work because his bosses often forgot his name or ignored the results of his work.
