Great Rune

Just as Ian flew toward Stormveil Castle, a golden flying sword came hurtling at him, forcing him to land. At the top of the castle, an ugly man with deformed horns growing from his face looked down at him calmly. Ian recognized him—Fell Omen Margit. He also knew that this was merely a projection of Morgott, the Omen King. Morgott himself was a Demigod, as well as the child of Queen Marika and Godfrey, the first Elden Lord.

"Four Tarnished, seeking the Elden Ring. Driven by the flames of ambition." Margit leaped down from a height of more than fifty meters and landed before Ian. "Someone must extinguish your flames... Fell Omen Margit shall do it for you."

Ian knew full well that this projection was worthless unless he defeated the real body. Therefore, he did not waste any time. Margit soared into the air and formed a massive hammer of light, bringing it down on Ian's head. Ian raised a shield to block it. Just as he prepared to counterattack, he noticed a crack in his force field.

"What's going on?"

"The enemy possesses shield-breaking and energy-canceling abilities, granted by a fragment of power highly similar to sacred energy," Morgana analyzed.

It seems wiping out all the Demigods won't be as simple as I imagined, Ian thought.

After landing, Margit swung his strangely shaped tail in a sweeping strike. Ian neither jumped nor dodged. Instead, he directly formed a thin wall of earth to block it, leaving the Demigod, who had never seen such bizarre magic, greatly startled.
