Ghislaine was taken in by Sword God Gal Farion and trained at the Sword God's Holy Land. She passed its Sword King examination before leaving, and remembered Cain Brand as the prodigious younger disciple who trained relentlessly and reproduced Blade of Light after witnessing it once. 98

Black Wolf's Fang and the Dead Wasteland

Ghislaine later joined the S-rank adventurer party Black Wolf's Fang alongside Paul and Keith. Keith handled navigation for the group; after the party disbanded when Paul married Zenith, Ghislaine was left to adventure alone. 99 100

She became lost in the wasteland for over a month and was found near starvation by Cain. In a desperate state, she killed and ate one of his horses raw after attacking with Blade of Light. Once she recognized Cain, she pledged to repay him for saving her life. 97 98
