Who didn't like receiving precious gifts? Albatross was no exception.
Whether in the past or the present, people more or less showed happiness when receiving unexpected gifts. If the gift happened to be exactly what they wanted, they might even start playing with it on the spot.
"How do I use this?"
"This is the power button. Remember to fasten this clasp after every use, so the battery won't drain too quickly."
"I see... It looks amazing..."
Albatross hugged the portable terminal, which was about the size of a suitcase, and excitedly examined its various functions.
Hyacinth stood beside her, explaining the intended design and use cases of the Association terminal—though most of its functions had been learned from Messiah and Qi Yun.
Things like, "Frontline personnel can use it to obtain information support in highly complex electromagnetic environments," followed by some roundabout hints about the farce those bronze statues had caused on Autumn Splendor Road...
However, Albatross seemed not to have understood Hyacinth's hints at all. At least she had taken to heart the words, "Leaving information on buildings is dangerous."
Since she had brought in two information-storing items at once, it would take time to assess the impact they might have. Hyacinth therefore did not remain in the Mindscape for long.
Just as she was about to leave, Albatross said in surprise, "You're leaving so soon? Why not stay for lunch?" She even added, "I'm a pretty good cook."
But under urgent pressure from the Hero Association and Heartmoon Fox, Hyacinth did not dare linger. She had no time for lunch and quickly returned from Millennium to the Mortal World.
Before she left, Albatross even tried to stuff some snacks into her hands, but all of them were blocked by the spatial rift—things originating from the Mindscape itself
