Background / History

Lin Dong became a zombie during the apocalypse but retained his intelligence, planning, and capacity for deception. Rather than hunt humans indiscriminately, he judged beef to be a better source of evolution energy and began building a guarded force of zombie underlings. His first recruits were an agile former high-jump athlete, a strength-oriented fitness coach, and an intelligent former doctorate holder; he established dominance through brainwaves, fed them, and taught them to use machetes. 5

He emerged publicly as a true Zombie King during an assault on human forces. His Domain slowed lightning Awakened Xu Jian enough for Lin Dong to remove Xu Jian’s Crystal Core directly from his head, after which elite zombies devoured the body. 42

As his territory expanded, Lin Dong turned Jiangbei into an organized Corpse Nest. He recruited or retained specialized followers, built large zombie formations, used captured resources to improve them, and repeatedly absorbed smaller factions or defeated rival Zombie Kings.
