Lu Zhou had expected this.
Even if he had exhausted every argument, he could not teach a cow to think or make a frog understand that there was a broader sky beyond the mouth of its well.
By comparison, Garrett Miro understood human nature very well.
He knew that well-reasoned arguments could only be told to people skilled at critical thought. For a farmer or a bridge worker, packaging scientific theories as something mysterious and unfathomable would actually make them easier to accept.
He also knew perfectly well that he did not need that many people to participate in his project. Physics had always been a game for the few. As for everyone else, it was enough for them to follow the path he pointed out and contribute their spirit and faith.
In that respect, Lu Zhou actually admired the guy a little.
To complete this experiment, he had not hesitated to make himself part of the price. At least in terms of the outcome, he had indeed planted the seed of "Cosmic Animism" into human civilization.
It was hard to say whether that had any meaning.
But perhaps he had his own reasons...
Overall, the conference had been fairly successful.
Inviting influential followers of the Spirit of the Universe to attend the lecture had only been an entertaining side event. Lu Zhou had never expected this thing to snap those charlatans awake. He had merely fulfilled his duty as a scholar to popularize science for the public.
As for the conference itself, its purpose was obviously not science popularization. It was simply a presentation for the Physics community.
Lu Zhou had already provided a detailed demonstration of his theories concerning the Void and Extra Dimensions.
As for whether it could end the controversy over the 5 TeV collision experiment...
