The story went back half an hour.
Standing beside the clear, transparent space fragment, Lu Zhou heard the voice from the Relic ask him for confirmation one last time.
"Have you made up your mind?"
"I have."
"Then let's begin."
As he watched a layer of white mist gradually veil the space fragment before him, Lu Zhou suddenly thought of something and spoke.
"Wait."
"Changed your mind?"
"No." Lu Zhou shook his head. "Can I make a request?"
"What request?"
"Get my teammates out of these ruins safely."
The voice fell silent for a moment.
Just as Lu Zhou began to doubt whether he could do it, the voice suddenly spoke again in a relaxed tone.
"Of course. That's hardly difficult."
The instant those words fell, the white mist entwined within the space fragment suddenly spread outward in a ring. Amid the hazy mist, winding, twisting lines were stirred together.
Like pieces of a shattered puzzle, those lines and their corresponding tunnels were scattered into a jumble, then reassembled under the control of some special law.
Within the soap-bubble-like Four-Dimensional Space Fragment, Lu Zhou saw his teammates, and even the wrist computer he had discarded earlier.
Under the control of that mysterious power, every puzzle piece containing something that did not belong to these ruins was moved to an area near the surface.
"Incredible." Taking in all these changes, Lu Zhou looked awestruck. "This is practically like..."
"Like what?"
"...Like the power of a god."
Pursued by the "collapsing" tunnels, his teammates fled one after another beyond the boundaries the Four-Dimensional Space Fragment could control-the exit of the ruins-as Lu Zhou watched.
Under the control of this power, all living beings were as insignificant as ants, manipulated by invisible chains like marionettes.
"A god? This?" A faint trace of mockery
