It couldn't be activated?!
What the hell?!
The moment Lu Zhou heard General Reinhardt's words, he became anxious.
"What the hell? You dragged me all the way out here just to show me a pile of scrap metal?!"
Apparently stung by the words "scrap metal," the voice immediately took on a trace of anger as it snapped.
"Scrap metal? What do you think made it possible? Think carefully about all that 'junk' you picked up. Without the parts removed from me, do you think that wooden brain of yours could have flown all the way here?!"
Lu Zhou immediately wanted to argue. He had only obtained electric propulsion and lithium battery technology from it; he had solved Controlled Fusion himself. Besides, those scraps pried from who knew where could not be reverse-engineered into anything useful. At most, they had pointed him toward a seemingly viable technological path. Most of the experiments, including those involving electric propulsion and lithium batteries, had been designed by him.
However, just as he was about to retort, something more noteworthy caught his attention.
"What do you mean, removed from you? Could it be..."
"I am this ship."
Without any intention of concealing it, the voice slowly revealed the truth.
For some reason, although he could not see General Reinhardt's expression, Lu Zhou could picture it vividly in his mind. He could even be certain that, when it said those words, its face had been clouded with gloom.
Unable to hold it in, he nearly laughed out loud.
"What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing. I just find it a little poignant..." After coughing twice, Lu Zhou put on a serious expression. "Could you take me inside your belly for a look?"
"Of course. This way, please."
The words seemed to have been squeezed out through clenched
