Early March.

The industrial robots Lu Zhou had ordered from Zhao Zhongshu finally arrived.

Two large trucks drove into the Jinling Institute for Advanced Study grounds. Under the watchful eyes of several security guards, the workers who had come with the trucks unloaded the cargo.

Patting a huge box lying on its side, nearly half a person tall, Zhao Zhongshu said with a smile.

"YuMi Intelligent Collaborative Robot, made by ABB in Switzerland. Its precision can reach 0.02 mm. The other six-axis general-purpose robots can also achieve 0.1 mm-level precision. They are capable of ordinary assembly, cleaning, and welding work. I don't know what sort of experiment you plan to conduct, but any operation that ordinary industrial robots can handle will be more than manageable for this equipment."

Lu Zhou nodded. "I'll verify that myself. Let's begin the installation now."

"Sure."

With a cheerful reply, Zhao Zhongshu immediately called over the accompanying engineers and workers and began preparing to install the equipment.

Cargo this large was not like air conditioners or television sets. There was naturally no way it could be brought in through an ordinary elevator.

Especially the ABB six-axis general-purpose robot with a 1.35-ton payload capacity. Its servo motor and reducer had been integrated into a single unit, and it was said that once dismantled, it could never be reassembled. It could only be installed whole beside an assembly line.

Taking the size of those wreckages into consideration, when Lu Zhou designed this underground laboratory, he had installed not only regular elevators but also a freight lift intended for cargo above one ton. It could travel directly from the Institute for Advanced Study garage to the underground laboratory's warehouse.

The freight lift could only be activated from inside the underground laboratory, however.
