The presentation on the general solution to the Yang–Mills Equations came to a successful close.

Over the next three days, several other supercomputing centers interested in the problem released their verification results, including the Yanshan University Supercomputing Center and the John Norman Supercomputing Center at Princeton.

The results held no surprises.

A particular solution to an equation might vary with the input parameters, but its general solution would not change depending on which computer ran it, even if the equation was a nonlinear partial differential equation.

As the data from the other supercomputing centers came out, onlookers marveled at Professor Lu's computational ability. Rumors that the Jin University Supercomputing Center had falsified its data or that the general solution had been made up on the spot collapsed on their own.

Academic fraud had made people wary enough that even Yanshan University's verification data could not be called entirely trustworthy. But in the public eye, research institutions like the John Norman Supercomputing Center still carried considerable authority.

Meanwhile, Lu Zhou's paper on arXiv had sparked renewed interest in the Yang–Mills Equations, the Mass Gap, and research connecting the Electromagnetic Interaction with the Strong Interaction. Lively discussions appeared across academic forums.

After all, unraveling the mysteries behind the equations was the lifelong ambition of many scholars. Now that a general solution had been found, everyone could see a glimmer of hope.

And beyond satisfying their curiosity, there was the lure of a Nobel Prize and the million-dollar reward for solving a Millennium Problem.

Whoever laid the final brick in that edifice could claim at least a third of the prize money and might even stand beside a world-renowned scholar at the Nobel Prize ceremony.

Apart from a few fiercely independent scholars, no one would complain about receiving too many honors...
