Lu Zhou had no particular hobbies. If anything qualified as one, something he never tired of, it was probably logging onto Weibo now and then to like posts by people who told the honest truth.

For instance, people who said he was handsome.

As it happened, he had searched Weibo for news about the Ares Program over the past few days, and quite a few busybodies had tagged him beneath a reposted article.

Out of curiosity, Lu Zhou clicked through and read the article from beginning to end.

By the time he finished, he could not help smiling and clicking his tongue in amazement.

"This guy really has a gift."

Anyone who could dissect the domestic academic environment so thoroughly and explain the technical details of the Raptor engine in such depth had to be at least halfway to being an industry insider.

The article was far too biased, though. There was nothing wrong with criticizing the Auspicious's thrust; he knew perfectly well that it did not even match the Long March 5. But discussing only thrust without mentioning its thrust-to-weight ratio or endurance was taking things a bit too far.

Besides, it was not that the Americans did not want to develop an electric propulsion system. They simply could not achieve that level of performance yet. How had this guy twisted that into them disdaining the technology? The PPPL Laboratory had already been working on it before he left Princeton.

As for the part attacking him, the author had probably confused the Long March 5 with the Long March 9. Moreover, the Auspicious's successful launch did not mean development of the Long March 9 would stop. Given the relatively high cost of electric-propulsion spaceplanes, chemical rockets were still viable for missions such as launching satellites into Low Earth Orbit.
