Background

Bibi Dong was once Qian Xunji's disciple. His abuse of her, and the existence of their daughter Qian Renxue, became the source of her enduring hatred toward the Angel bloodline and Spirit Hall itself 5. She later became Pope after Qian Xunji's death, while secretly pursuing the destruction of both the Angel Clan and Spirit Hall 14 29.

Before Su Qi's arrival, Bibi Dong conspired with the King of Slaughter to assassinate Ye Fan, the Eighth Consecrated Elder and former Holy Son. Ye Fan's rapid rise to Rank 96 made him a threat to her plans against the Consecration Hall and Angel Clan 29. Ye Fan's reincarnation as Su Qi eventually turns that buried crime into the central cause of their conflict 52.

Her composure repeatedly collapses when confronted with reminders of Qian Xunji, Yu Xiaogang, or her vulnerability before Su Qi. She uses people close to her as political tools—including proposing a marriage alliance between Hu Liena and Su Qi—while recognizing the bitter similarity between her actions and Qian Xunji's manipulation of her 23.

When Yue Guan reports Su Qi's Innate Level-20 Full Soul Power and divine-grade sword martial soul, Bibi Dong immediately recognizes that his killing aura suppresses her Rakshasa power 5. After the Rakshasa God's warning confirms Su Qi's connection to Shura God, she appoints him Spirit Hall's Holy Son and plans to turn him into a weapon for her revenge against Spirit Hall 6 8.

Struggle for Su Qi's Allegiance

Bibi Dong attempts to keep Su Qi away from Qian Daoliu and the Consecration Hall by granting resources, ordering special body-tempering preparations, gifting him the Soul Devouring Jellyfish Right Arm Bone, and proposing Hu Liena as a marriage partner 8 23. Her efforts are undermined by Su Qi's growing ties to Qian Renxue and the Consecration Hall 20 28.
