Soul Rings allow a Soul Master to pass cultivation bottlenecks and continue advancing.

• Soul power can accumulate before a ring is acquired, but cannot fully advance past the relevant threshold without one. 2 5 23
• Bing Yekong’s first ring breaks his level-10 bottleneck and raises him to the peak of level 14. 4
• His fourth ring releases both its own power and residual medicinal energy, raising him from level 40 to level 47. 25

Soul Skills

A ring can grant a soul skill whose nature reflects the soul beast, the bearer’s martial soul, and their attribute compatibility.

• Bing’s first ring grants Heavenly Frost Battle Body, increasing all attributes by 50% and attack power by 100%; its consumption is halved in icy or snowy terrain. 4
• His third ring grants Heavenly Frost Slash. 25
• His fourth ring grants Ice Seal Thousand-Blade Break, combining freezing control, explosive sword-energy damage, defense, and group control. 26
• A Soul Ring’s potential is not always fully accessible: Dugu Bo estimates ordinary Soul Masters may draw only 70–80% of a Ten-Thousand-Year ring’s power, while Bing’s Ultimate Ice can draw out virtually all of it. 26

Absorption Requirements and Risks

Absorption depends on the bearer’s physique, spiritual power, and compatibility with the ring.

• An ordinary first-ring absorption limit is slightly above 400 years; Bing’s 800-year first ring is possible only because his body withstands two Ultimate-attribute martial souls. 3
• Higher-age rings contain increasingly violent soul power and can damage meridians or the dantian during absorption. 48
• Ten-Thousand-Year and stronger rings may contain a remnant soul capable of attacking the absorber’s Sea of Spirit. 25

Sacrificial Soul Rings

A soul beast may voluntarily sacrifice itself, transforming its cultivation, life force, and soul bone into gifts for a chosen human.

• Sacrificial rings cause no rejection and are absorbed more perfectly than rings obtained through hunting. 69
• The cost is absolute: the sacrificing soul beast’s soul and consciousness dissipate completely, without reincarnation. 69
• The Frost Giant Dragon’s sacrifice produces Bing’s sixth red ring and Frost Dragon Right Arm Bone, while also creating a connection between his two martial souls. 69 70

Divine-Bestowed Soul Rings

Divine-Bestowed Soul Rings are condensed by divine power rather than harvested from a slain soul beast.

• Bo Saixi states that their final age depends on the maximum power the absorber can endure. 133
• Their energy is gentler than that of hunted rings, actively fusing with the bearer instead of violently resisting. 134
• Gentleness does not remove the burden of extreme age: once a Divine-Bestowed ring exceeds 100,000 years, its energy becomes increasingly dense and difficult to guide. 134
• Bing receives a 300,000-year Sea God ring as his eighth ring and a million-year Asura God ring as his ninth. 133 134 142 143

• Bing Yekong — The primary documented bearer. His Heavenly Frost Sword ultimately gains nine rings, while his Ice Dragon King—later evolved into the Icefire Chaos Dragon King—begins developing its own ring system. 143 148
