Background / History

Kiba is Hana Inuzuka’s younger brother and Tsume Inuzuka’s son. Although Inuzuka Ye Fan is not related to them by blood, Kiba treats him as an elder brother and lives alongside him in the Inuzuka household. He had recently graduated from the Ninja Academy and joined Team 8 with Hinata Hyuga and Shino Aburame under Kurenai Yuhi. 6 51 55

Before Ye Fan’s guidance, Kiba ranked near the bottom among Academy graduates. Ye Fan’s corrections substantially improved his taijutsu, raising him to an average level among his peers. 13

Kiba’s admiration for Ye Fan began with the latter’s ability to identify flaws in taijutsu and offer practical corrections. He fiercely rejected public rumors that Ye Fan was worthless, nearly fighting Shino for repeating them before Ye Fan intervened and reminded him to value his teammates. 6 7

Kiba is active, competitive, confident, and initially extremely impulsive. He tends to overcommit once provoked; during his test against Dark Shadow, he repeatedly used Fang Over Fang despite its predictability, exposing a dangerous tendency to charge into traps through stubbornness. 6 22
