Background / History

Mu developed Dust Release, a Kekkei Tōta created by fusing Wind, Fire, and Earth chakra natures. His successor, Ōnoki, inherited the technique. 806 987

His experimental notes on Dust Release were preserved within Iwagakure. Rather than providing a safe, step-by-step cultivation method, the notes record his development theories and experimental process. 989

Uchiha Qian later obtained Mu's notes from Iwagakure and used them to accelerate his own Dust Release research. The material substantially improved his theoretical progress, though the three-nature fusion remained extremely difficult. 993 995 1006
