Background / History

During the Third Great Ninja War, Minato participated in Konoha’s decapitation operation against Iwagakure. He first met Uchiha Qian during preparations for the strike, greeting him warmly and coordinating around Minato’s Flying Thunder God Formula. 223

Following the operation, Minato evacuated injured and surviving Konoha shinobi through repeated Flying Thunder God transfers. His speed and reaction time were so exceptional that Qian could not perceive the spatial transition and recognized Minato as operating at a Kage-level standard. 233

When Roshi and Han attacked Konoha’s front line as the Four-Tails and Five-Tails Jinchūriki, Minato used Flying Thunder God to hold both fronts at once. The tactic consumed considerable chakra, but prevented the two Jinchūriki from freely attacking Konoha’s forces. 234
