In the forest, Teramitsu and Kamijo Yoichi were hurrying along when they suddenly heard Qian's warning and immediately halted.
Qian looked around, his Sharingan seeming even more blood-red.

A string of crisp metallic collisions rang out as Qian swung the Short Sword in his hand, blocking every flying needle in front of him.
Even for Qian, operating at this limit was a little too much. He began to pant lightly, and the light in his Sharingan seemed to dim a bit.

Just then, applause sounded from far away, drawing closer.

Qian looked toward the voice and saw a giant spider nearly two meters long walking out, carrying a young sand ninja of fifteen or sixteen on its back.
