The Snow Was Too Heavy, Taking Leave to Clear It

When I woke up this morning, I found the snow was nearly knee-high in some places. Good lord, it was over forty or fifty centimeters deep, even thicker in some spots. I could barely push the door open this morning.

I had to clear the snow from the yard today. Several paths needed clearing, including the path to where we stored coal and corn cobs, the path to the toilet, and the entrance. The area in front of my house was pretty big too, so there was a lot to do. It took me an hour and a half just to clear two of the paths, and they were only narrow trails wide enough for one person to pass. Even with my physique, I was completely exhausted. I still had to widen them by several times, and there were several more paths to clear. This might take all day.

And it had been snowing nonstop since last night, and it still hadn't stopped. My mom said there might even be heavy to blizzard-level snow tonight.

While I was resting because I had no strength left, I came over to ask for leave in advance...
