Clash with Tianyi

Before the larger Kumogakure offensive, A battles Tianyi and exposes a critical weakness in Tianyi's combat system: Flying Thunder God's teleportation creates a brief, exploitable delay against an opponent with extreme speed. This encounter leads Tianyi to invest two skill points into his Body attribute, increasing his physical responsiveness, chakra reserves, Cell Activation Technique, and Chakra Enhanced Strength Technique. 158

Battle Against Jiraiya and Tianyi

A joins the Third Raikage and Killer B in confronting Tianyi while Jiraiya prepares Sage Mode. The trio uses a layered anti-@@REF_ENTITY_16309495@@ strategy: the Raikage and A maintain relentless close-range pressure, while Killer B's ink clones and a Kumogakure genjutsu user disrupt Tianyi's chakra flow and vision. 253

When Tianyi retreats, A and the Third Raikage attack Leaf shinobi to force him back into combat. Their tactics nearly overwhelm Tianyi until he escapes underground and seals himself inside a dense iron-sand sphere. 253

West Wind Strike

Tianyi later uses Magnet Release: Metal Storm as a distraction before teleporting himself and Jiraiya away from the incoming West Wind hypersonic ballistic missile. The ensuing nuclear-scale blast kills the Third Raikage, leaves A unconscious with his right arm destroyed, and severely injures Killer B. 255
