After moving into her room, Bronya first gently closed the door, then took a bottle of Mo Yi's specially made knockout spray from her pocket. Standing on tiptoe, she searched every hidden spot in the room where someone could easily hide.

She first looked up at the ceiling to see whether anyone was stuck to it, then checked behind the curtains, the wardrobe, the bathroom, and the toilet. As a former emotionless assassin, Bunny had long been an old hand at the basic skills of hiding and lurking.

As for why she did this as soon as she entered the room, that had to start with her first meeting with Seele!

Ever since meeting Seele, Seele would often suddenly jump out from some hidden spot, appear behind Bronya, cover Bronya's eyes with her hands, and play those flirtatious little games like, "Guess who I am?"

Just as Mo Yi had said, Seele now had two personalities: the White Seele Bronya knew well, and the utterly vicious Black Seele.

Because of her personality, although White Seele had yet to forgive Bronya for behavior akin to cheating, she could still be reasoned with. At worst, she would just whimper. Black Seele, on the other hand, was always threatening Bronya—though they were only threats.

However, according to Black Seele, she planned to deal with Bronya only after she reached Schicksal Headquarters. She intended to make sure Bronya could never leave her again and turn her into her exclusive doll.

The harassment along the way was probably a form of psychological pressure as well.

So although Bronya felt guilty, she had no intention of waiting helplessly for death. Simply atoning would change nothing. Only by doing something could she save Seele from the nightmares of the past!
