Scott Lang returned to Luis's house to stay temporarily.

There were two other people at Luis's place: Kurt, who knew hacking, and Dave, a thug.

Scott Lang rubbed his hands together eagerly. "Tang, thanks for appreciating my talent. What job are you going to have me do?"

Apocalypse smiled. "Before we went to pick you up, Luis already had a job lined up. Since we're brothers, why don't you help him finish it first?"

"Really? Luis, why didn't you tell me?"

Luis hesitated, seeming to have something difficult to say.

For someone as talkative as him, that expression was practically worse than killing him.

Scott Lang said, "Don't be embarrassed. You're my brother. Whatever it is, just say it."

Luis mumbled, "I don't want to say it. Do you know what I'll say? If I say it and you don't help me, it'll make you seem disloyal. But if you do help, it might ruin the life you have now. Mr. Tang is employing you now, and he's so rich. Your future is definitely going to be great. But I can't pull this off without you..."

Scott Lang practically wanted to grab a remote and hit the fast-forward button so he could just hear the conclusion.

But this might be the last thing he and his brother would accomplish together, so he patiently waited for Luis to finish.

Scott Lang said boldly, "Brother, I promised Cassie Lang I'd become her superhero."

"As long as it isn't some home burglary job, I'll help you get it done. Go on, say it."

"I... want you to join us for a home burglary job."

"Uh..."

Scott Lang was instantly speechless. Looking at Apocalypse, he said, "Tang, you knew it was this kind of job, didn't you? What exactly is your goal?"
