Rocket Raccoon was about to explode with curses when he suddenly saw a stream of dark red liquid fly from Apocalypse's hand, pass through the ship's glass, grow larger and larger, and swiftly envelop the entire spacecraft.
In that moment of distraction, a meteor came hurtling toward them with no time to evade it. Everyone instinctively raised their hands in front of them.
Yet the meteor seemed to strike an illusory shadow and passed directly through the hull without affecting the ship at all.
Then, they saw even more massive meteors rushing straight at them.
The overwhelming pressure made them instinctively want to resist, but the meteors quickly passed through their bodies and vanished behind the ship.
After watching it happen several times and confirming there was truly no danger, everyone finally relaxed. They even tried reaching out to touch the meteors passing through the ship.
Naturally, they touched nothing.
Star-Lord felt his own body and only relaxed after confirming that he had not turned intangible.
"Tang, aren't you from Earth? Are Earthlings this powerful now? Or are you some god of Earth? I thought God was just something religions made up."
Apocalypse said calmly, "I don't know whether God exists, but I am indeed from Earth."
"If you insist on calling me a god, then I suppose I count as a god of Asgard."
