Xolotl looked at his grandfather and softly gave a certain explanation.

Hearing this, the High Priest thought for a while, then nodded gently. He patted Xolotl's shoulder and smiled calmly.

"My child, then we shall do as you say."

Xolotl pressed his lips together and nodded silently. He continued reading downward. Next came the third part of the doctrinal system, "The Chosen People," which was the theoretical foundation for the establishment of the priestly body.

The concept of the Chosen People referred to those who had received the Main God's revelation and been blessed by the Main God. This concept was making comparisons at every moment and possessed a strong aggressiveness. Compared with those who did not believe in the Main God, those who did were the Chosen People. Compared with the unpious, pious believers were the Chosen People.

And among the devout, the more divine revelation they received, the more divine blessings they were granted, the more "Chosen" they were. According to this logic, the Mexica People had received the Main God's revelation and blessings, and so were the Chosen People. The priests possessed more divine revelations, and so were Chosen people.

The Chosen had an innate responsibility to rule, to guide and enlighten the ordinary masses. The Chosen priests established the Priesthood and guided thousands upon thousands of the people, naturally not for power and pleasure, but to spread the god's revelation and shepherd the people for the god.

And at the very top of this chain were The Elder, who inherited divinity, the High Priest, the Divine Descendant King, and His Highness of Divine Inspiration!
