This author got sick earlier—rather seriously—and lay in bed for a week. Now I've pulled through and will resume updates. Mm, apologies to all my readers, and thank you all for your support and concern. I'm truly grateful.
Mm, I'll write a little story to remember the past two weeks.
This author coughed, suffered, and sighed in sorrow.
"The kitty lies before the window by the bed, eyes full of spring scenery falling into cold winter.
My heart is like a drifting soul scattered to nothing, my body like duckweed, my spirit nowhere to be found.
In a thousand layers of illness I mourn the Great Sage; ten thousand jun of grave sickness press like the five elements mountain."
"Eek, this can't go on! Yunmeng, you can't stay sick—you still have to get up and update!"
This author's kitty sat by the bed, widened its adorably round eyes, and looked at me. Meow.
"The hardest time will pass very soon! I'll dance a sacrificial dance for you and make you recover!"
And so the kitty began to dance, chasing its tail, drawing snake-like loops, chanting all the while.
"Meow meow meow~ Soul Summoning Technique, sickness be healed. O soul, return, sings the Songs of Chu; meow meow meow~ the deep, clear river waters still have maples~~"
"Meow-yay, you're cured! Get up and work!"
A wondrous thing happened. This author gradually got better and came back to type again. Prayers, and thanks to kitty~~
