After the Second Ninja World War!
"Tsunade, let's go to that hot pot place," Uchiha Ying said.
"Sure. Whatever you want," Tsunade replied.
"Have you heard? The Second Ninja World War is over, and Lord Uchiha Inabi is apparently about to step down."
"Really? Wasn't it Uchiha Ying who led Konoha to victory?"
"Exactly! Lord Uchiha Ying looked so handsome when he came back. He's six feet tall—what woman wouldn't fall for him?"
"How time flies. Six years have gone by already. Back then, you were such a tiny little thing. Adorable." Uchiha Ying smiled, his eyes full of affection.
"Hmph! You were the little one! Say that again, I dare you!" Tsunade shot back, raising her brows.
"Oh no, I said the wrong thing! Spare me, honey!" Uchiha Ying cried with exaggerated alarm. He took off running, laughing as he shouted, "Help! My wife's trying to kill me!"
"Hmph! That'll teach you to run your mouth!" Tsunade pretended to be angry and chased after him.
After running around and teasing each other, they took a leisurely walk along the river.
"Look. That's where we first met," Uchiha Ying said softly, his eyes warm.
"Yeah. I still remember the first time I saw you. You clumsy fool, you ran straight into me and left a huge bump on my head. Then you took the chance to kiss me." As Tsunade spoke, a smile crept onto her lips, her eyes filled with sweet memories.
They found a patch of grass by the river and sat side by side, letting the breeze brush their faces.
"Konoha has changed so much. It's like this breeze—fresh and full of life." Uchiha Ying narrowed his eyes slightly, savoring the moment.
"Mm. The shopping street has kept growing these past two years, just as you planned.
