But he had just placed his last sand soldier. With none behind him, he couldn't dash away with his E and had to retreat on foot.

As soon as he turned, he spotted Vi emerging from the brush, fist drawn back as she charged up.

Seeing Vi come at him, Zeka made a split-second decision to play it safe and Flash.

His health was still fairly high, but without a mobility skill, he could still be caught and killed.

Even if he survived, the enemy jungler and mid laner could take a huge chunk of his health. Then he would be too low to stay in lane and would have to recall and Teleport back.

That would cost him minions. Better to Flash early, preserve his health, and keep laning against Rabbit without an immediate recall.

His Flash dodged Vi's punch and its crowd control, letting him escape.

Less than two minutes after he thought he was safe and went back to last-hitting, Vi emerged behind him with Braum. Azir had no Flash this time and couldn't escape. He tried to use W-E-Q for a long dash, but Rabbit Flashed in to block him and cut it short.

Azir could only die under the three-man assault.

Takuya claimed first blood.

Everyone on the team knew who the star was now. Give him kills, and he would carry.

After killing Azir, Takuya didn't recall immediately. He cleared a round of his own camps and secured the bottom Scuttle Crab.

In his first Worlds match against an LCK bot lane, Leave showed no fear or hesitation. He played brilliantly, using several small outplays early to build a nine-CS lead over Viper.
