Takuya dug a razor out of the cabinet and shaved off his scraggly beard. He immediately looked younger and more alert.
He left his hair alone, though. Taking his phone, he went out and found a barbershop near his building.
With his hair cut a little shorter, his whole appearance changed.
After that, Takuya began looking for Sasaki Tsunehiro.
Maybe it was luck, but when Takuya reached the waterfront, he spotted several people in a chase.
The man in front looked a little like Sasaki Tsunehiro. The three chasing him were distinctive too: one tall and thin, one fat, and a woman wearing a mask.
That was enough to confirm it. Takuya hurried after them.
Sasaki Tsunehiro could certainly run. They looked as though they had been at it for a while.
When Tsunehiro climbed onto the railing by the water, the three debt collectors stopped. They began pleading with him not to do anything foolish and to come down.
Takuya knew Tsunehiro was about to fall, so he quietly moved closer.
Tsunehiro's attention was entirely on the debt collectors. He never noticed Takuya approaching from the side.
Just then, his right foot slipped into empty air. His stomach lurched, and he flailed his arms in terror, but it was no use. He was about to fall.
Two hands reached out from beside him and caught his arms just in time.
The three debt collectors stood frozen, stunned by what they had seen.
"What are you standing there for? Come help me!"
Takuya shouted irritably.
He had improved his strength and physical condition, but this position made it hard to exert force without hurting Tsunehiro. It would be better to have the three debt collectors help.
The three finally snapped out of it and rushed over. Together, they pulled Tsunehiro
