"We met in Capital City, right? I don't really remember." Qin Fen truly was a man of his word.
The moment he said that, Yan Chenyu felt a knot of frustration in his chest. You two really know each other? What the hell, why do you know every beautiful woman? Once Big Chef finished speaking, though, he breathed a sigh of relief. Good, you don't remember her. My reputation isn't for nothing. I'm not losing to you. The thought of the man enjoying two women at once still rankled.
Still, he turned to look at Chameleon. His own woman was hardly inferior: a first-rate figure, first-rate looks, and a model to boot. At least that restored some of his swagger.
"You're free today, so why don't you want to go out? I could take you around and show you my hometown." Yan Chenyu raised an eyebrow and handed Big Chef a cigarette, looking unbearably smug. Being tall and handsome made winning at life so easy.
"Because I'm exhausted. My back aches, my waist hurts, and my legs are cramping. I don't want to move. I just want a good rest!" Chameleon was telling the truth. She was a veteran special agent, not a laborer. After an entire afternoon of heavy work, any woman would have been ready to collapse. Besides, that bastard Qin Fen hadn't even given her a sip of water. She was still burning with resentment.
"Seriously? What did you do to get that tired?" Yan Chenyu was speechless.
"That's our little secret!" Qin Fen ran off as soon as he said it, chuckling inwardly. Trying to take the roundabout approach, infiltrate my circle, and spy on me? Up to no good, are you? Dream on!
Fuck you! Yan Chenyu was instantly dumbfounded. He stared hard at Chameleon.
