2013...

2013, after 2012...

New atmosphere, new year, new look...

Perhaps Shadow had been silent for ten years. Once 2012 passed, the new book's results really did improve a great deal.

This was mainly thanks to the support of all you brothers and sisters. Shadow bows here in heartfelt thanks!!!!

In a few hours, it would be the New Year defined by the Chinese nation for thousands of years—the true New Year of the Chinese people!

Here, Shadow wished all you brothers and sisters a Happy New Year! May everything go smoothly! May the Year of the Snake soar like a dragon! May youths find their first love, young adults find happiness, and middle-aged people find fortune. (There shouldn't be any elderly readers, right? As far as Shadow knows, the oldest reader is thirty-nine.)

Also, Shadow wanted to say a few words about these past few days' updates.

Being single and having a family really were vastly different. Shadow now felt this deeply. After all, Shadow had elders above and children below, and he was an only child who had already started a family and career. Many things now had to be handled by Shadow himself; he could no longer let the elders take care of them.

Receiving guests, offering blessings, giving gifts, visiting homes, buying New Year goods... and so on. There really were many things to do. This was also the main reason Shadow's recent updates had been rather chaotic. Some time ago, he even went out of town for a few days and could only ask a friend to help update, merely to keep from breaking the streak!

So, Shadow shamelessly asked... from New Year's Eve to the seventh day of the first lunar month (the sixth is my family's traditional observance day), let Shadow enjoy
